2008 Estate Pinot Noir

2008 Estate Pinot Noir

Late spring frost nearly wiped out the Pinot noir. After fermentation of the remaining crop, it was aged in 50% new French oak resulting in rich dark fruit aromas of blueberries, blackberries and black cherry. The Pinot noir also expresses smoke, cloves, toffee, brown sugar and vanilla. The wine displays a firm acid structure and pairs well with food.
